User guide
A cut moves through six possible stages — Editor → Producer → Creative → Business Management → Client → Approved — and each role only ever sees the stages that have actually reached them. Pick your role below for exactly what to do.
Editor
Cuts the work, sends it for review, addresses what comes back.
- 1Make sure the Dragonfly Review agent is running — look for the dragonfly icon in your Mac's menu bar. It should say "Signed in" when you click it; if not, sign in there once with your email.
- 2Open Premiere and open the Dragonfly Review panel (Window → Extensions, if it's not already docked).
- 3On the Jobs tab, search for the job or create a new one — the panel remembers which one is active as you switch sequences.
- 4Cut your edit, then hit Send for Review. The panel reads the active sequence itself, so there's no version ID to type or track by hand.
- 5When feedback comes back, open the Notes tab. Click any note to jump the playhead straight to it.
- 6Disagree with a note? Tap its flag icon and explain why — it becomes a chat thread on that note instead of a dead end.
- 7Addressed everything? Use New Version — it clones your sequence and carries the still-open notes forward automatically, labeled with which version they came from. Send for Review again.
